Turkey: Blast kills 34

Ankara, Mar 14 (IBNS): At least 34 people were killed as a blast hit central Ankara city of Turkey on Sunday, media reports said.

Country's Health Minister Mehmet MüezzinoÄŸlu confirmed during a press conference that 125 people were injured in the blast.

30 people were killed at the scene of the incident while four others died on their way to the hospital, MüezzinoÄŸlu was quoted as saying by Hurriyet Daily News.

The injured people were rushed to different hospitals for treatment.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan condemned the blast and said his nation will continue its determined fight against terrorism.
