Turkey: Eight soldiers killed in clash, helicopter crash

Ankara, May 13 (IBNS) At least six soldiers were killed on Friday during a helicopter crash and during a clash between the security forces and outlawed Kurdıstan Workers’ Party (PKK), media reports said.

According to DoÄŸan News Agency report, six soldiers were killed and eight others were injured during clash between security forces and PKK militants.

The clash occurred at the Çığlı base in Hakkari’s Çukurca district.

The helicopter, which was sent in the area, crashed and left two other soldiers killed.
