More than 300 students were on the streets in groups, performing jingles, dancing and singing with enthusiasm as the new school year started.

Junya Igarashi, a senior student from St Michael College, Toronto said, “We just wanted to shout out and let people know that we are back to school again.”

With classes starting next week, the senior students took charge to welcome and enlighten the new-comers with the diverse and merry attitude of Toronto.
