Woman sexually harassed in Pakistani rickshaw: Police arrest person who filmed a video of the incident
Lahore: Pakistan police on Sunday arrested a man who had caught on camera a viral video of a woman, who was travelling in a rickshaw, sexually harassed by a man, media reports said.
Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Political Communication, Dr Shahbaz Gill, tweeted that police will soon arrest the man who harassed the woman, Geo News reported.
Pakistan reports more cases of harassment and assault of women. Days after the shocking video of a female Tiktoker being sexually assaulted in Lahore by a mob, another video has now gone viral on the social media where a woman, who was travelling on a rickshaw, was forcefully kissed by a stranger after being hounded by motorbike-borne men.
In the video, two women could be seen travelling in a rickshaw with a child.
It is still not clear where the incident occurred.
The women are visibly disturbed at the sight of a couple of motorcyclists hounding the rickshaw, catcalling and leering at them, reports Geo News.
One man jumps onto the rickshaw, out of nowhere, and forcibly kisses the woman. Startled, she and the woman beside her scream but no one intervenes, reported the news channel.
