Kolkata/IBNS: Adding a fresh motion in the battle of campaign vehicles for upcoming West Bengal assembly polls, the Trinamool Congress (TMC) on Saturday launched its election campaign vehicles named "Didir Doot" (Didi,Mamata Banerjee,'s Messenger) to take on BJP's ongoing "Parivarthan Rath (chariot) Yatra" campaign.

During a roadshow in Sonarpur Uttar (North) and Dakshin (South) constituencies, TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee's nephew, Diamond Harbour MP Abhishek Banerjee, flagged off the "Didir Doot" campaign vehicles.

A TMC spokesperson said that leaders of the party will use many such vehicles to hold campaigns across the state.

The campaign vehicles will onboard people who want to be directly connected with Didi (Mamata Banerjee) and act as her messenger (Didir Doot) to communicate her mission and vision across.

Earlier on Feb 4, TMC launched "Didir Doot" mobile application, which has reportedly been designed for the People of West Bengal to directly connect them with Mamata Banerjee, and the party claimed that the application had been installed by more than a lakh users from the Google Play Store till date.
