BSF seize large numbers of Yaba Tablets along Indo-Bangladesh border

Guwahati,/IBNS: Troops of Guwahati Frontier of Border Security Force foiled an attempt of narcotics smuggling at Indo-Bangladesh border and seized 915 Nos Yaba tablets on Thursday from the bordering area of Sadartilla village in Assam's South Salmara district.

Acting on tip-off, the BSF troops of Border Out Post (BOP) Sadartila of 06 Bn carried out a special operation in the general area of village Sadartila under Mankachar police station in South Salmara district.

They seized 915 numbers of Yaba Tablets as the consignments were being smuggled from India to Bangladesh.

Later seized narcotics items were deposited at Mankachar police station for further disposal.
