CCTV footage brings murder angle to Jharkhand judge's death incident

Ranchi/IBNS: The supposed accident of a Jharkhand judge grabbed a murder angle after a CCTV footage suggested the man was knocked down by a tempo driver on road.

Inthe footage, Dhanbad district judge Uttam Anand was seen jogging on the roadside while the tempo, which was moving in mid-road, took a left turn and ran him over.

The incident took place at around 5 am Wednesday.

After the surfacing of the CCTV footage, Giridih Police have now arrested the auto driver in the incident which occurred in Dhanbad.

Two aides of the auto driver have also been nabbed.

The Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) has asked the top court to take suo moto cognizance of the incident.
