Chhattisgarh: Blast injures 4 CRPF personnel

Raipur/UNI: Four Central Reserve Police Force personnel were injured – one of them severely – in an explosion caused when a box containing an igniter set and cartridges was dropped while being loaded onto Coach Number 9 of a CRPF special train on Saturday at the railway station here, police said.

The blast occurred on Platform Number 2.

Three constables were discharged after first aid whereas Head Constable Chouhan has been admitted at the Narayana Hospital.

The train, from Jharsuguda in Odisha, later left for Jammu Tawi carrying personnel of three companies of the 65th, 80th and 211th battalions.
