Gujarat: Bhupendra Patel to take oath as CM today

Gandhinagar:  Bhupendra Patel will take oath as the Chief Minister of Gujarat on Monday as the BJP-led government will take seventh term in power in the state.

Bhupendra Patel had replaced Vijay Rupani in September last year.

According to reports, 25 Cabinet ministers will take an oath with him.

The BJP registered a landslide victory winning over 150 seats as the results of the assembly elections held on Dec 1 and 5 were declared on Thursday.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, the top leaders of the BJP, will attend the swearing-in ceremony.
