Indian army organises Op Sadbhavana medical camp in Assam's Charaideo

Guwahati/IBNS: Red Shield division under the aegis of Spear Corps organised Capt Jintu Gogoi, VrC, Memorial Medical Camp under Op Sadbhavana at Kanubari LP School, Kanugaon village in Assam's Charaideo district on Tuesday.

The aim of the medical camp was to provide free COVID-19 essential kits, medicines, medical consultation and treatment for minor ailments to the local residents who are devoid of requisite medical facilities.

A total of 475 patients were administered treatment including 122 males, 246 females and 107 children.

Apart from medical assistance, basic awareness on hygiene and healthy lifestyle was also imparted. All COVID-19 guidelines were adhered to during the event.

The villagers expressed profound gratitude for undertaking such an initiative and appreciated the continuous efforts and commitments of Indian Army.
