Srinagar/UNI: Unidentified masked gunmen on Wednesday looted cash and also decamped with a 12-bore rifle of bank guard in the central Kashmir district of Budgam, official sources said.

This is the fourth incident of ATM loot of a bank in the Kashmir valley during this month.

They said a group of masked gunmen entered J&K Bank (JKB) branch at Chandapora in Badgam Wednesday. However, after threatening the bank staff and customers, gunmen looted Rs two lakhs and decamped with the rifle of the private bank guard. The gunmen also took away CCTV system with them, sources said.

Security forces immediately reached the spot and launched a massive hunt to trace the gunmen.

On February 19 two gunmen looted about 3.50 lakh from a petrol pump in Budgam.
