Jammu and Kashmir: NGO White Globe hosts short marathon in Srinagar

Srinagar: NGO White Globe organised an event “Kuwat-ul-nissa”, a short-marathon for awareness of cybercrimes and menace of drug abuse in society, under the leadership of Sheikh Saba Chairperson  and General Secretary Syed Junaid  Sadaat White Globe, here on Saturday.  

The Chief Guest for the inaugural event was Vijay Kumar (IG Kashmir) and Chief Guest for closing ceremony was Athar Amir khan (Municipal commissioner, Srinagar).

Special guests like Irshad Rather ( Sp Hazratbal),Parvaiz Qadri (Deputy Mayor Srinagar), Nighat Aman (SSP Security Secretariat), Musadiq Basu(SDPO Zakura, Shafat Hussain SDPO Zadibal, Gowher(SHO Nageen), Sachit Sharma (SDPO Nehru Park) were also present.

For the record, 920 female students across 30 schools, colleges, higher secondary and  sports clubs participated in the short marathon from Duck Park to Nishat Bagh.
