Kashmir: 2 die in road accident in Kupwara

Srinagar/UNI: A motorcyclist and his pillion rider were killed in a road accident in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kupwara district Monday.

Police said a motorcycle was hit by a vehicle at Rednag of Lolab area, resulting in critical injuries to the motorcyclist and his pillion rider.

Both the injured were taken to a nearby hospital where they were declared brought dead, the official said.

The victims were identified as Adil Ahmad Shah and Rashid Ahmad Shah, both residents of Baba Hayatpora Lolab.

Police have registered a case in the matter and initiated investigations.
