New Delhi/UNI: Congress leader Jairam Ramesh on Tuesday said party chief and LoP in Rajya Sabha, Mallikarjun Kharge, and a few other MPs will be unable to attend the President's address to both Houses of Parliament as their flights from Srinagar are delayed due to inclement weather conditions.

"Due to delayed flights from Srinagar airport on account of inclement weather conditions, Leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha, Mallikarjun Kharge and many other Congress MPs will be unable to attend the President's address to both Houses of Parliament at 11am today," the Congress MP tweeted.

Kharge and several MPs of the Congress had attended the concluding function of the Bharat Jodo Yatra-led by its Wayanad MP Rahul Gandhi in Jammu and Kashmir's Srinagar on Sunday.

President Droupadi Murmu will address the joint sitting of both Houses of Parliament at 11 am on the first day of the Budget session.
