Massive fire breaks out at a slum in UP's Noida

Noida/IBNS: A huge fire erupted at a slum in Uttar Pradesh’s Noida on Sunday evening, media reports said.

At least a dozen fire tenders have been pressed into action and firefighters are trying to douse the flames, reports said citing police officials.

The incident happened at Gejha village at Noida's Sector 93, according to NDTV.

As the fire spread, people escaped to safety and no casualties have been reported so far.

There is an atmosphere of chaos at the site due to the sudden flames as the massive blaze is yet to be brought under control.

The cause of the fire could not be ascertained yet.
