PM Modi arrives in Chhattisgarh capital

Raipur/UNI/IBNS: Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived here on Friday and is scheduled to address a public meeting where he will blow the BJP’s electoral bugle vis-à-vis poll-bound Chhattisgarh.

He will be participating in a National Highways-related programme organised by certain central government departments.

The dignitary’s special plane touched down at approximately 1020 hrs.

He was received by erstwhile chief minister Raman Singh.

The leader duo then departed by helicopter for the Science College Ground.

Modi will also visit Uttar Pradesh's Gorakhpur and Varanasi on Friday.

Among various programmes, Modi will flag off two Vande Bharat trains and launch development projects worth Rs. 12,100 crore.
