Task force will be constituted to present the Maratha reservation case in SC: Eknath Shinde

Mumbai/UNI: Maharashtra State Chief minister Eknath Shinde said a task force will be constituted for the legal battle to present a case for reservation of the Maratha community in the Supreme Court more strongly.

Shinde was speaking in a comprehensive meeting which was held at Sahyadri State Guest House under his chairmanship in Mumbai last evening.

In this meeting, various demands of the Maratha community were discussed in detail. Positive decisions were taken on many points.

"Let us fight unitedly to get reservations for the Maratha community. It is the sincere wish of all of us that the Maratha community should get a reservation," said Shinde.

The meeting was attended by Minister of Higher and Technical Education Chandrakant Dada Patil, Chairman of the Cabinet Sub-Committee on Maratha Community Reservation and Facilities, State Excise Minister Shambhuraj Desai through an audio-visual system.
