UNGA Prez Csaba Korosi looking forward to participating in International Yoga Day event with PM Modi

United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) President Csaba Korosi has said he is looking forward to participating in the International Yoga Day celebration with PM Narendra Modi in New York next week.

The event will be held in UN Headquarters on June 21.

The President tweeted: "I am looking forward to participating in the 9th International Day of Yoga celebrations @UN with Prime Minister @NarendraModi at the UNHQ North Lawn next week."

Narendra Modi will visit USA and Egypt from 20 to 25 June 2023.

At the invitation of H.E Mr. Joseph Biden, President of USA and First Lady Dr. Jill Biden, Prime Minister will pay an Official State Visit to USA.

The visit will commence in New York, where Prime Minister will lead the celebrations of the International Day of Yoga at the United Nations Headquarters on June 21.

In December 2014, the UN General Assembly had adopted a resolution proclaiming June 21 as the International Day of Yoga.
