Uttar Pradesh: Three die as vehicle hits motorcycle

Deoria: Three youths died when their motorcycle was hit by an unidentified vehicle in Barhaj area of Deoria district here in Uttar Pradesh, police sources said here on Monday.

Police sources told UNI the incident took place late on Sunday night when Surendra Chauhan along with his friends Durg Vijay Chauhan and Raju Chauhan was returning from a function.

"Near Harnautha village their motorcycle was hit by an unidentified vehicle injuring the trio seriously," they said.

Police sources said while Surendra and Raju died on the spot, Durg Vijay was admitted to the medical college where he succumbed to his injuries on Monday morning.

"The bodies have been sent for post mortem examination and efforts are being made to trace the vehicle," they said.
