Uttar Pradesh: Three youths die as truck hits bike

Jaunpur/UNI: Three youths were killed when a motorcycle was hit by a truck in Badlapur area of Jaunpur district here in Uttar Pradesh, police sources said here on Wednesday.

Police sources said that the incident took place late on Tuesday night when the motorcycle was hit by the truck on Ambedkar crossing near Sarokhanpur.

"Three youths identified as Kuldeep Kumar, Phoolchand, both residents of Daudpur and Phoolchand, a resident of Sarokhanpur were killed on the spot," they said.

Circle Officer (CO) Badlapur Shubham Todi said that efforts are being made to trace the truck and its driver.

"The bodies have been sent for post mortem examination," he said.
