Badlapur earns cash at BO despite Cricket World Cup

Mumbai, Feb 23 (IBNS): 'Badlapur' has garnered a good collection of Rs. 24 Cr nett over the weekend. Badlapur has done well on Sunday despite the world cup match, with a collection of Rs 8.25 Cr.
Trade analyst Komal Nahata said, “Badlapur held on beautifully on Sunday despite the exciting World Cup cricket match between India and South Africa. So if it was Dhawan on the cricket field, it was also Dhawan in the box-office arena, both in top form!”
 
The film had garnered the right amount of buzz and was eagerly awaited by both the critics and the audiences..It has been running to packed houses at many centers, and with the weekend around the corner the numbers are surely going to increase.
 
Taran Adarsh further adds, "Badlapur is rock solid despite India vs South Africa match on Day 3. Fri 7 cr, Sat 8.75 cr, Sun 8.25 cr+. Total: ₹ 24 cr+. India biz. Fab!"
 
The film has been directed by Sriram Raghavan with Varun Dhawan in lead performance.
