Mumbai/IBNS: The teaser of Bollywood actress Adah Sharma starrer filmmaker Sudipto Sen's upcoming film, Bastar- The Naxal Story- was released by the makers on Tuesday.

Adah, who plays the lead, has shared the teaser on her X profile.

The teaser shows Adah as IPS officer Neerja Madhavan giving a stern warning to Left liberals and pseudo intellectuals for encouraging the Naxalites, who are allegedly leaving the soldiers martyred.

"Will shoot these Communist in public on streets," the teaser shows Adah saying in the monologue.

The film, which is produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah's Sunshine Pictures and co-produced by A. Shah, deals with the Naxalism in Bastar, a district in Chhattisgarh known for tribal residents.

Adah posted on X, "A story colored red with the blood of innocent people! Capture the untold story... Bastar - The Naxal Story. Teaser out now!"

Apart from Adah, the film stars Indira Tiwari, Vijay Krishna, Raima Sen, Yashpal Sharma, Shilpa Shukla et al.

Prior to Bastar- The Naxal Story, Sudipto Sen, Adah and producer Vipul had collaborated in The Kerala Story, which was also on real life incidents.

The film depicts the alleged radicalisation and conversion of young Hindu and Christian women to Islam in Kerala and their recruitment into the terrorist organisation Islamic State or ISIS.

It had sparked a political controversy as several politicians including Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan accused the filmmaker of promoting the agenda of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), the ideological parent of the country's ruling party BJP.

The Chief Minister, who leads a Communist government in the state, criticized the film for painting Kerala as a hub of religious extremism and spreading hate propaganda against Kerala.
