Lisa Ray selected for 'Inspirational Fighter Spirit Of India' MedscapeIndia Awards 2015
Mumbai, Oct 20 (IBNS): Actress and cancer survivor Lisa Ray has been reportedly selected for the 'Inspirational Fighter Spirit Of India' award which has been organized by Medscape India, a non-profit charitable trust.
The entire team of "Ishq Forever" was present to celebrate along with Lisa.
MedscapeIndia – AMET is a non-profit charitable trust working relentlessly towards community welfare since 2006 and is the only organization in India which brought all the specialties on one platform focused on bringing the entire healthcare community together for a social contribution.

MedscapeIndia Awards 2015 has 21 categories of awards and each award has its own mission and credit to empower health for the receiving individual/institutions to inspire our community for better work.
Says Lisa, "It was amazing to celebrate my 'Inspirational Fighter Spirit of India' award with my producer, director and co- actor Krishna from #IshqForever. We really bonded while working on the film, and besides I play a fighter in #IshqForever too”.
Ishq Forever is Lisa's first Hindi film feature release after recently moving back to Mumbai from Toronto where she has been working as an actress and Multiple Myeloma activist after her treatment for cancer and marriage to financial executive Jason Dehni. The movie has been directed by Sameer Sippy and produced by Ajay Shah, Harry Gandhi and Shabeer Boxwala under their banner Friday Cine Entertainment. The film is slated to release on January 15. The entire team of "Ishq Forever" was present to celebrate along with Lisa, while she received the prestigious award.
