Riyadh: Riyadh witnessed an evening to remember on Thursday when World Cup champion  Lionel Messi's Paris St Germain took on a Saudi All-star XI led by his great rival Cristiano Ronaldo.

However, it was a surprise and happy moment for fans when Amitabh Bachchan greeted the stars ahead of the start of the match.

Bachchan shook hands with stars of both the sides which included names like  Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.

The Bollywood megastar wrote on Facebook: "what an evening ..Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Mbape,  Neymar all playing together  .. and yours truly invited guest to inaugurate the game .. PSG vs Riyadh Seasons  .. Incredible  !!!"

The exhibition clash once again brought Messi and Ronaldo to face each other.

Interestingly, Ronaldo was recently signed by Saudi Arabia's Al-Nassr.

A 10-man Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) defeated Riyadh XI 5-4 in the clash to remember, scripting a proper Saudi Arabian night.

Ronaldo scored twice in the game.

Messi hit one goal in the match.
