Istanbul, Aug 21 (IBNS): Turkish President Recep Tayyip ErdoÄŸan has said the suicide bombing in the country, which left at least 51 people dead, was likely carried out by militant group ISIS.

The attacker was between the ages of 12 and 14, the President was quoted as saying by the police by citing police sources.

ErdoÄŸan was quoted as saying by Hurriyet Daily News there were 69 people wounded who were currently receiving treatment in hospitals, 17 of whom are in critical condition.

The bomb attack occurred targeting an outdoor wedding party in southeastern Turkey on Saturday, media reports said on Sunday.

The incident, believed to have been carried out by a suicide bomber, happened in Turkey's Gaziantep city.

Reports quoting Gaziantep governor Ali Yerlikaya's statement said that 30 people had been killed and 94 wounded in "an abhorrent terror bomb attack on a wedding."

"We condemn the traitors who organised and carried out this attack," Ali said.

According to reports, the attack has been possibly carried out by either Kurdish militants or Islamic State group extremists.
