Kate Middleton gives birth to baby boy, family welcomes new born

London, Apr 23 (IBNS): The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, has given birth to a baby boy at St Mary's Hospital in London on Monday.

Kensington Palance informed that both the mother and baby are doing well.

The new-born baby is fifth in line for the throne.

Kensington Palace said in a tweet, "The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Harry and members of both families have been informed and are delighted with the news."

The baby, which weighs 8lbs 7oz, was delivered at 1101 hrs.

The pregnancy was announced in October.

Catherine is the mother of two children-Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

Prince George was born in 2013 while Princess Charlotte took birth in 2015.

he child will be Queen's sixth great-grandchild.
