London crash: Pedestrians injured, police detains one person

London, Oct 7 (IBNS): A number of pedestrians were injured in a crash with a car near Natural History Museum in one of the busiest streets of London on Saturday, media reports said.

The area where the crash took place has been cordoned off by Metropolitan police.

One person has been detained by the police.

Immediately after the incident, ambulances rushed in to the spot to take the injured people to hospital.

Metropolitan police, however, could not provide the actual number of casualties.

The police is investigating the incident, though not considering any terror link.
