Venture Garage announces Kotak supported FY2019-20 edition of Find Your Investor programme
Kolkata/IBNS: Venture Garage (a company which handholds startups to help them raise capital), in association with Kotak Mahindra Bank (Kotak), has announced the Financial Year 2019-20 edition of its annual fund raising platform, Find Your Investor (FYI), for start-ups.
In this programme, start-ups learn about raising capital, including aspects such as legal, banking and documentation requirements during fundraising besides getting chances to interact one-on-one with investors; discuss on the investment views of leading venture capitalists (VC)/angel investors of India; networking and much more.
The programme will take place in five leading Indian cities where 50 selected start-ups from all across India will get a chance to pitch their business ideas to investors to raise capital.
The FY2019-20 edition of FYI will take place in Hyderabad on November 29, 2019; in Bengaluru on December 13, 2019; in Mumbai on January 10, 2020; in Pune on January 23, 2020, and in Chandigarh on February 7, 2020.

Most start-ups are still struggling to make themselves funding ready and then find the right platform to connect with investors. According to the organiser, the FY2019-20 FYI series will host over 500 entrepreneurs and over 40 investors, including India’s most active VCs such as Inventus Capital Partners, Matrix Partners, Artha Venture Fund, 7 Gate Ventures, RPSG Ventures, Orios Venture Partners among others.

According to Venture Garage, FYI FY2018-19 was attended by over 50 VCs/angel investors and 700 entrepreneurs in the programmes held in Delhi, Gurugram, Jaipur and Chandigarh.

The total funding raised by start-ups that pitched at FYI FY2018-19 stood at over Rs 18 crore.
