Rupee Vs Dollar Mumbai/UNI: The Rupee on Thursday advanced by 15 paise to close positive at 74.46 against the USD on brisk selling of US Dollar by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Forex Market said.
In the opening session, the domestic unit moved up by 15 paise to 74.46 and settled on an opening level.
The Rupee escalated due to the weak dollar against other world currencies amid a rebounding equity market, a dealer said.
The local unit registered days high and low at 74.50 and 74.42 respectively.
