Deepika Padukone becomes Hyundai India's global brand ambassador
Mumbai/IBNS: Hyundai Motor India has roped in Bollywood superstar Deepika Padukone as its global brand ambassador, the South Korean automotive manufacturer company said on Friday.
Hyundai India welcomed Deepika in an X post.
The company posted on X, "We welcome the global icon @deepikapadukone to the Hyundai family. Fasten your seatbelts for an ultimate drive!"

Hyundai Motor India Ltd. COO Tarun Garg said in a statement quoted by various media, " We are thrilled to onboard the incredibly talented, global Indian icon Deepika Padukone as our brand ambassador. Her magnetic charm and illustrious career perfectly aligns with Hyundai Motor India’s young and dynamic brand.
"Deepika’s influence extends beyond the silver screen, resonating with a diverse audience, especially the vibrant youth."
The actress, who made her Bollywood debut way back in 2007, said in a statement, "I am absolutely delighted to join forces with Hyundai, an iconic name synonymous with innovation and excellence in the automotive industry."
"It is an honour to be associated with a brand that has a rich legacy of crafting vehicles that have not only stood the test of time, but have also set benchmarks for performance and style," she added.
On the work front, Deepika, a Bollywood A-lister, delivered a blockbuster early in 2023 with 'Pathaan' and went on to play an extended cameo in 'Jawan'.
The 37-year-old actress, who has also worked in Hollywood, is presently gearing up for her next release, 'Fighter'.
