Indian benchmark indices decline on Wednesday, Infosys to declare quarterly results on Thursday

Mumbai, Apr 12 (IBNS): The Indian market chose to remain cautious on Wednesday ahead of the company earnings season scheduled with Infosys declaring its quarterly results on Thursday.

The BSE Sensex was down 144.87 points at 29,643.48 and the NSE Nifty was down 33.55 points to 9,203.45.

Key stocks that gained were Sun Pharma, Bharti Infratel, Hero Motocorp, Lupin, Bajaj Auto, Yes Bank and Dr Reddy's Lab while Tata Steel, Idea Cellular, Adani Ports, Wipro, GAIL and Tata Motors declined.
