Infosys Science Foundation, Agastya International Foundation launch mobile science labs
Bangalore, Feb 23 (IBNS): Taking its Teachers' Training program to the next level, the Infosys Science Foundation (ISF), in partnership with the Agastya International Foundation (AIF), on Tuesday inaugurated Mobile Science Labs designed to spur curiosity and creativity among students, and make learning an interactive experience.
The mobile lab was flagged off by Srinath Batni, Trustee, Infosys Science Foundation, in the city on Tuesday.
The lab will carry science models to schools across educational districts in the State and allow children to have a hands-on learning experience, while beholding the mystical experience of Science as it unfolds.
Speaking during the inauguration, Batni said, “The Infosys Science Foundation aims to instil and restore the love for Science from a young age. Our partnership with the Agastya International Foundation is an endeavour to introduce students to various educational concepts through imaginative and creative experiments."

"This will help open up vistas of learning that kindle curiosity in their minds. We hope such initiatives will help us eliminate the vaccum in our education system that is caused by insufficient infrastructure and inadequate access to experiential learning. In order to breathe life into science education, schools need to provide functional labs to students, and the ISF mobile science labs are a step forward in this direction,” said Batni.
