Whatsapp introduces new feature - live location sharing

| @indiablooms | Oct 18, 2017, at 09:39 pm
Sacramento, Oct 18 (IBNS): Messaging app Whatsapp introduced a new feature, live location sharing, from Wednesday.

With this feature, any Whatsapp user will be able to share his/her location with anyone.

The location shared will be real time and not static.

WhatsApp product manager Zafir Khan told The Times of India over phone: "We were trying to solve the rendezvous problem: when you are meeting up with a group, when you want to share where you are when you are commuting, or when you want to let your loved ones know that you are safe. These are the scenarios where live location is useful."

Whatsapp is a messaging app where one could send text messages, photos, videos and connect to the people who are present in their contacts.
