IIT Kharagpur bagged 16 international offers including highest package of more than INR 2.6 Crore CTC on Day 1 of placements
Kharagpur: On the first day of the placement session of 2022, the students of Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur secured more than 760 offers including Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs).
The Institute witnessed a healthy presence of all the major companies across sectors bagging 16 international offers including highest package of more than INR 2.6 Crore CTC on Day 1.
A total of 34 companies have participated in the placement process that includes Apple, Airbus, Alphagrep, Capital One, EXL Services, Google, Graviton, Microsoft, Rubrik, Square Point etc. More than 70 profiles were opened for the students on first day of the placement session.
A wide spectrum of profiles in software, analytics, finance, tech, consulting and core were offered to the IIT KGP students.
The placement session 2022-23 (Phase-I) of IIT Kharagpur that started on 1st December 2022 performed exceptionally well in both hybrid and physical mode with enthusiastic participation of the students and the companies.
IIT Kharagpur has received 800 plus internship offers this year. More than 140 companies with variant of software, analytics, consulting, finance & banking, have participated in internship selection process in IIT KGP this year which indicates a healthy start of the season ahead.
Amidst the global market scenario, the students of IIT KGP have received huge International and attractive domestic offers from many companies. A. Rajakumar, Chairman CDC complimented all the students on their successful endeavours and acknowledged all the participating recruiters for their strong association with IIT Kharagpur.
