Campus Placement Drive at IGNOU

New Delhi, July 15 (IBNS) The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) on Tuesday said it has established itself as a national resource centre and a provider of quality education through its high-quality self learning material and innovative programmes delivery methodologies.

Campus Placement Cell (CPC) of IGNOU in association with Regional Centre, Delhi-2 organised a Campus Recruitment Drive in which the placement offers from BMA Wealth Creator, Noida, a insurance broking company were given to IGNOU students.

The target group for the drive was students of Bachelor Degree Programmes which includes B Com, BA, B Sc, and BCA.

"As a result of scrutiny of documents and personal interviews of 383 participants, a total of 264 IGNOU learners were selected for the position of Tele-Sales Officials with a salary bracket of Rs. 8,500 to 11,000 per month. Besides salary, the company provides cab facility, success incentives and performance bonus. The Success Ratio of 69% in the drive made a mark in employment sector. The best part of the drive was that the appointment letters were issued on the spot. All selected students are expected to join within a month time," read a statement released by the IGNOU.
