IGNOU's new website launched

New Delhi, Aug 30 (IBNS): Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) have started newly developed Website of the University.

It was inaugurated by Rabindra Kumar, Vice Chancellor, IGNOU .

IGNOU's website is  Learner - centric  and developed in Open Source Platform by In-house team of Computer Division of the University.

Some of the  features of the new Website are it's being Learner Centric Design and having  Dynamic Interactive Banners (Learners Life Cycle), Learner Dashboard (Complete Details of a Learner with Authentication) and other features such as to  Facilitate Learners (Perspective and Registered) to post Grievances/Queries, directly, Academic Calendar, FAQs, Content Updation by respective Schools/Divisions/Centred (to be facilitated, soon), Interface with Learner Support Services Centre(SSC) and Locate Regional and Study Centres through Google Map .
