UPSC announces 2019 Civil Services Examination results

New Delhi/UNI: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Tuesday announced the final results of 2019 Civil Services Examination.

While 829 candidates have been selected to various Civil Services through this examination, Mr Pradeep Singh has topped in the merit list among the male candidates and Ms Pratibha Verma is the topper among the women aspirants.

UPSC said that the final result is available on the official website.

Of the 829 successful candidates,180 have been selected for the Indian Administrative Service(IAS), 24 for Indian Foreign Services (IFS), 150 for Indian Police Services (IPS) while 438 candidates have been selected for various services under Central Services Group A and 135 for Group for Group B services.

Among the all qualified candidates,304 are from General Category,78 from Economically Weaker Section, 251 from Other Backward Classes,129 from Scheduled Castes (SC) and 67 from Schedule Tribes (ST).

Result of 11 candidates have been withheld, the UPSC said.
