President Kovind visits Belur Math and pays respect to Swami Vivekananda

Kolkata, Nov 29 (IBNS): President Ramnath Kovind visited Ramakrishna Math and Mission, Belur Math, here on Wednesday. 

The President arrived at Belur Math at around 11.10 a.m. and visited Swami Vivekananda’s room, temples of Swamiji and Maa Sarada and also the prayer hall.

The President also had a meeting with the President of Ramakrishna Math and Mission Swami Smaranandaji Maharaj prior to his departure from Kolkata for Mizoram, read a government statement.

The President of India has been presented with some of the latest publications of the Mission, informed Swami Subeeranandaji, General Secretary of the organisation.
