West Bengal: Under-construction flyover collapses in Kakdwip, no injuries reported
Kolkata, Sept 24 (IBNS): Days after the Majerhat bridge collapse in Kolkata, an under-construction flyover collapsed in Kakdwip, a town in the South 24 Parganas district of West Bebgal,on Monday, media reports said.
No injury has been reported.
West Bengal's Sundarban Development Minister Manturam Pakhira told a local news channel that he ordered a probe into the incident.
In early September, a flyover in South Kolkata's Majerhat area collapsed, claiming three lives and injuring several people.
Following the Majerhat incident, a canal bridge in Siliguri crumbled.
