West Bengal: Three of a family killed in Darjeeling landslide
Darjeeling/IBNS: Three members of a family, including a child, were killed in a landslide on Friday midnight at Rimbick village in Darjeeling district of northern West Bengal, reports said on Saturday.
According to reports, the landslide stuck a house, inside which three persons were sleeping that time, at Lodhama area of Rimbick in Darjeeling.
Later on Saturday morning, locals, policemen, and fire and emergency services personnel rushed to the scene and pulled three bodies out of the debris.
Local police officials said that the deceased had been identified as Nima Tamang (34), Chandra Tamang (29) and Nehal Tamang (5).
