Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday made his podcast debut when he appeared in Zerodha co-founder Nikhil Kamath's People by WTF series where he said he is just a human being and can commit mistakes.

Speaking to Kamath, Mistakes do happen and I also commit them. I am just a human being and not god," he said.

Modi said more 'good people' should join politics.

"They should join politics with a mission and not with personal ambition," he said.

He said social media has emerged as a powerful tool in democracy.

"Social media is empowering our democracy," he said.

Modi shared a link of the podcast on X and described his experience of appearing in the show as 'enjoyable'.

"An enjoyable conversation with @nikhilkamathcio, covering various subjects," Modi wrote.
