Guwahati/IBNS: Red Horns Division of Indian Army successfully organised a medical camp at Sialmari No. 2 village, Darrang district of lower Assam on Friday.
A joint team of doctors from Army and Civil administration including women doctors and nursing staff participated in providing medical assistance and succour to 1500 locals in the remote and impoverished minority belt, including men, women and children.
On International Minority Day, the camp organised in the interiors of Darrang district assuaged the genuine medical problems and woes of the minority community among others.
The secular fabric of Indian Army upholding and celebrating the Unity in Diversity was vividly demonstrated in the conduct of the successful medical camp.
The efforts in the conduct of the camp with clockwork precision and professionalism keeping in mind the Anti-COVID 19 measures was lauded by one and all.
