New Delhi/IBNS: Union Home Minister Amit Shah Tuesday held a high-level meeting on the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir in Delhi.

Shah chaired the meeting in the presence of J&K Lt Governor Manoj Sinha, J&K Chief Secretary Atul Dulloo, Army Chief Manoj Pande, and other senior officials from the Armed Forces.

This meeting comes in the background of recent terror attacks in the Poonch and Rajouri areas of the Union territory.

According to UNI sources, Shah will review the recent terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir. He will also discuss better coordination among police, Army, and CRPF to boost and strengthen local intelligence.

The central government's 'Zero terror' plan, which has been in place in Jammu and Kashmir for the last three years, will be discussed.

The Narendra Modi government aims to fully implement the 'Zero terror' plan by 2026 fully.
