Bengaluru/IBNS/UNI: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) Wednesday announced a cash reward of Rs. 10 lakhs for information about the suspected bomber in the Rameshwaram Cafe blast case in Bengaluru.

"Wanted in Rameshwaram Cafe bomb blast case. Any information leading to his arrest shall be rewarded with Rs 10 lakhs. The identity of of informer will be kept secret," NIA posted on X along with the picture of the bomber attached.

The low-intensity bomb went off at Rameshwaram Cafe on March 1, leaving 10 people injured.

The police have launched a manhunt to track down the masked bomber who allegedly used the BMTC bus before entering the cafe and after departing it.

Before leaving the cafe, the accused allegedly set a timer on the bomb. He had spent about 9 minutes in the cafe and ordered for Rava idly for snacks.

Rameshwaram Cafe is situated in Whitefield's Brookfield area in Bengaluru, a business centre and an IT hub.

Among the injured was a woman who was sitting near the Improvised Explosive Device (IED) allegedly kept in a bag left behind by the bomber at the cafe.

The NIA and Intelligence Bureau (IB) sleuths have examined the blast site.

The Rameshwaram Cafe co-founder has said the cafe is set to reopen on March 8.
