New Delhi, Dec 16 (UNI): Entry and exit gates at all six metro stations, including Patel Chowk and Central Secretariat, which were closed by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited (DMRC) on Monday in wake of protests being held here against the Citizenship Amendment Act, have been opened.

''Entry & exit gates at all stations have been opened. Normal services have resumed in all stations,'' DMRC said in its official tweet.

The six stations where entry and exit gates were closed included Lok Kalyan Marg, Janpath, Udyog Bhawan, Patel Chowk, Central Secretariat and Jamia Millia Islamia.

Earlier, the DMRC had closed entry and exit at all these six stations and trains were not halting at these stations.

In wake of protest, on Sunday, as advised by Delhi Police, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation had shut entry and exit at several stations, including Sukhdev Vihar, Jamia Millia Islamia, Okhla Vihar, Jasola Vihar Shaheen Bagh, Vasant Vihar, Munirka, RK Puram, Patel Chowk, Vishwavidyalaya, GTB Nagar, Shivaji Stadium, ITO, IIT, Delhi Gate and Pragati Maidan.
