Bihar: Minister resigns after winning Lok Sabha poll
Patna, May 27 (UNI) Bihar Water Resources Minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh today resigned from the membership of state legislative council after he was elected to Lok Sabha.
Singh handed over his resignation letter to state legislative council working chairman Haroon Rashid.
Singh was nominated to the upper house of state legislative council in 2014 and his term was scheduled to end in 2020.
Singh was elected to Lok Sabha from Munger on JD (U) ticket this Lok Sabha election.
