Bihar: STF arrests dreaded Maoist
Patna, Aug 10 (UNI) Special Task Force (STF) arrested self proclaimed area commander of CPI (Maoist) from Piri Bazar police station area in Lakhisarai district last night.
STF police superintendent Ranjeet Kumar Mishra said here today that STF from Patna with the support of local police nabbed the extremist of outlawed CPI (Maoist) Shankar Yadav from his hideout in Lathiakol forest on the basis of specific intelligence input. He said Shankar Yadav was believed close to Maoist leader Arvind Yadav.
Mishra said the nabbed outlaw was accused of murdering three people in Jamui district and also in indulging arson at Madhusudan railway station of East Central railway and executing nearly 10 unlawful plans in Lakhisarai and Jamui districts.
