Haryana BJP chief Subhash Barala quits
Chandigarh/IBNS: Amid the counting of votes in Haryana assembly elections, party chief Subhash Barala resigned on Thursday.
Barala resigned after the trends of poll results indicated a dismal performance by the BJP which ruled Haryana for the last five years.
In Haryana, the BJP is leading in 40 seats as opposed to Congress' 31.
The JJP might come up as a king-maker if none of the main parties gets clear majority in Haryana.
Also BJP national president Amit Shah called Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar to New Delhi.
