Huzurnagar public rally of TRS doesn't seem to be 'gratitude rally' as they branded it: BJP

Hyderabad/UNI: Telangana BJP unit on Saturday said that the Huzurnagar public rally of Telangana Rastra Samiti (TRS) didn't seem to be a 'gratitude rally' as they branded it.

"With the slew of false promises made by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR), which he will never deliver, it should be re-named as 'deception rally' instead," State chief spokesperson K Krishna Saagar Rao said in a statement here.

He questioned the credibility of CM KCR's promises to the people of Huzurnagar.

"His government in its entire 6 years of rule has given no funds to any gram panchayat in the state, But, today KCR promised 20 lakh to each village and 30 lakh to each mandal in Huzurnagar. How should anyone believe these shallow promises?" he stated.

"Going by KCR statements, if Huzurnagar hasn't developed even a bit and if irrigation issues of 1997 are still existing, is CM KCR and his government not partially responsible for this, being in power? BJP wonders, " he continued.

Though the BJP lost the by-poll in Huzurnagar by a very big margin, the party remains undeterred from alleging KCR of misgovernance in the state of Telangana, he said.

"BJP strongly feels the people of Telangana deserve better governance, which only we can deliver," the BJP leader claimed.

"TRS party might have won a small battle now, but BJP will win the war of assembly elections due in 2023," he said.

"BJP will build the organisational strength and people connect across the state by the next election," he added.
