I will not give up even an inch of land as long as my breathing lasts : Mamata Banerjee
Kotulpur/ Indus/UNI: West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo Mamata Banerjee on Monday warned that she will not give up even an inch of land as long as her breathing lasts.
Addressing public meetings, Banerjee alleged that BJP would sell Bangla.
"Railways will sell, SAIL will close down and BJP will close BSNL. They will sell everything," she said.
"Mothers and sisters, remember that this is not an election in Delhi, it is an election in Bengal. The BJP lies before the election. When the election is over, they will runs away. So we do not want the BJP,” the chief minister said.
“We have given 50 percent reservation for women in the municipality. I have reserved 40 percent women in the Lok Sabha. The change will not be in Bengal, it will be in Delhi. Modi-Shah must be removed,” she said.
Banerjee said, “The children of Bankura are good at education, so I have done university here, there is a medical college, there is a super specialty hospital. There will be more tomorrow."
“I cannot forget Kotulpur-Joypur. The CPM's hardliners have now become the BJP's masters. Our traitors have become masters of the BJP,” she said.
“We have developed Jayarambati and Dakshineswa. There is coal in Bankura, there is paddy, there is potato, there is Mukutmanipur in Bankura, there is Sushuniya, and we all live together,” the chief minister said.
“'Potato farmers don't worry. If the potatoes are not sold, I will buy and sell them,” Banerjee said.
“Bury the BJP politically in Bankura on election day. Forget who the candidate is, assume I am the candidate. If the candidate wins, the government will be mine,” the TMC supremo added.
